Google Earth
This is a truly amazing software product, enabling you to use the power of Google Maps to view almost any part of the world (with 3D buildings if you like) in great detail. You can even choose to include points of interest such as restaurants and cab firms.

Google Desktop
This desktop toolbar provides many, many useful features such as a calendar, clock and a picture slideshow, as well as integration with their other products (ie GMail and Web Search). It's main use, however, is it's powerful search facility for your own computer.
